Job Purpose:
The job for Product Marketing Engineer is to work for Product Manager to manage specific product line including business case analysis, CER application, pricing, and forecasting. This job is also supporting PRP and profitability.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Profitability
· Support sales force to realize revenue target.
· Introduce new custom projects and set development priority list by weighing in terms of strategic importance, growth potential, profitability, resource availability and schedule.
· Gross margin
· NPI Results / Tracking
Pricing
· Control all quotation prices with the approval from Product Marketing Manager.
Forecasting
· Firm up the forecasting numbers for whole Asia Pacific, and keep alliance with Head Quarter.
Product Priority
· Set Product Priority and be driving R&D, Manufacturing & Materials folks, based on the priorities agreed by the team.
Customer profiling & Market Analysis
· Characterize our target customers in terms of what their strategy is, what their spend on power is etc. This needs to be done for both, OEMs and Service providers.
Life Cycle Management (Local Proj.)
· LA/DA (Local Proj.)
· NPI Cost / Cost Priorities
New product introduction
· Win/ Loss Analysis
· CERs application
· Business Case
· Market Requirements (Local Proj.)
· MISTY (Local Proj.)
· Product Launches (Local platform prod.)
Product positioning/Product Marketing
Competition Analysis
Qualification & experience
· Product knowledge.
· Bachelor Degree in EE or above
· EE background. Prefer to working experience in electronics industry.
· At least 2 years working experiences in electronics industry
· Fluent English communication capability.
· Be able to learn and have a drive to improve and serve customers.
· Good internal and external communication capability.
· Acute to new opportunities.
· Strong teamwork capability. |
