Job Purpose:
1.Support Commodity team technically to identify saving opportunity
2.Qualify new or replacement components
3.Support R&D team in NPI
Duties/Responsibilities:
1.Mapping out test plan, implementing component test and qualifying the component in time.
2.Providing technical support to R&D, Cost Reduction Implementation Team (CRI), and Procurement to recommend and insure the qualified parts in new designs and/or in parts replacement.
3.Performing failure modes analysis of components and following up with component manufacturers to insure the right corrective actions will be effectively implemented.
4.Survey and assess of the capability and the quality risk of the suppliers
Qualification & experience
1.3+ years of CE working experience in related commodity with enough knowledge on power circuit. Working experience on failure mode analysis will be a plus
2.Strong interpersonal skill, teamwork, creative and analytic thinking
3.Language proficiency in both Chinese and English
4.Majoring in engineering. Master Degree will be a plus
5.Knowledge and experience in quality control, reliability, manufacturing capability auditing, RoHS, etc. |
