Job Purpose:
• Manage AP based suppliers, identify and realize saving opportunity for TEPS global
• Make sure purchasing Tyco quality components but enough competitive purchasing cost compared to competitors to keep the competitiveness of TEPS, especially the booming production activity in AP
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Search, Audit, Develop and Manage AP located suppliers for TEPS global
• Lead one Global Supply Team (GST) per commodity to address global supply issues and map up global supply strategy
• Facilitate and solve supplier related issues (including pricing, delivery, quality, RoHS, etc) for TEPS global
• Investigate and analyze the supply market, be involved into the making process of global strategic plan for certain commodities
• Support AP R&D and Supply Chain to make sure the new products to be realized in competitive cost and Tyco quality
• Implement annual negotiation and maintain the price information in SAP or PDMS
• Review, define and realize saving opportunity
• Reach agreement with suppliers
Qualification & experience
1) Bachelor Degree (or higher), Engineering Preferred
2) At least 2 years of sourcing experience in multinational or large scale electronic product company. Sourcing experience in sheet metal/stamping/metal area preferred
3) Fluent communication in English
4) Excellent negotiation skill
5) Good phone meeting organizer and leadership to drive team forward
6) Good knowledge in manufacturing process of responsible component and quality control process
7) Strong inter-personnel skill, open-minded, self-restrain and self-motivated |
